Clive Sharp has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Offaly vet Catherine Gowing.

He has been jailed for a minimum of 37 years.

The 46-year-old man admitted to her murder last October after she went missing.

Her remains were found in 2 locations close to where she went missing from the town of Mold. 

Mold Crown Court heard how Mr. Sharp dismembered her body and dumped parts of it across various locations.

Catherine's sister - Emma Gowing - spoke outside court following the sentence.
