In their annual report, the British Board of Film Classification highlights the most complaints they receive about their film classifications - and last year it was a particularly unusual one.
19 people complained about a sex scene in the 12A rated biopic Mr Turner. It seems lead actor Timothy Spall's 'buttocks' was the source of the complaints - even though there is no actual nudity in the scene.
The BBFC explains, "in the scene in question, Turner's clothed buttocks are seen clenching vigorously, before the scene cuts to a close-up of his face and his thrusting head and shoulders.
"The scene is relatively brief and does not contain any nudity, but Turner does appear rather distressed," the classification organisation adds.
The BBFC stresses that 19 is a 'relatively low' number of complaints for when it comes to the most complained about film of the year, and represents only a tiny amount of the people who watched the film. In 2008, in contrast, more than 300 complaints were received about their classification of The Dark Knight.
BBFC received 12 complaints about 12 Years a Slave in 2014, concerning violence and sexual violence in the film, including a scene showing the rape of a female slave. Bad Neighbours, 300: Rise of an Empire and The Equaliser also led to a number of complaints to the organisation.
