Dublin's South Quays have reopened at Merchants Quay, following an early morning collision.

A man in his 20s was seriously injured after being hit by a truck just before 7am. He is being treated in St James's Hospital.

Gardaí are investigating the accident and a forensic examination of the scene has been carried out.
