The top 50 books for children to read have been released, and Roald Dahl remains at number one.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is the top book that every child should read by the age of 16, according to research by Sainsburys.
Next is Alice in Wonderland, followed by The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
The most loved children's character is Paddington Bear, followed by Winnie the Pooh, the hungry caterpillar and Postman Pat.
As well as the classics, the top 50 now includes books from the Harry Potter and The Hunger Games series.
