Cannabis plants worth around €120,000 have been uncovered after a house caught fire in County Tipperary.

Investigators said the fire caused extensive damage to the house in Rathnavogue area of Roscrea this morning.

The local fire brigade attended and once it was extinguished, Gardaí searched the premises and found it had been converted into a grow house.
