Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has named 8 new ministers including 4 women on his Twitter account. 

Using the hashtags #shuffle13 and #cdnpoli the Ontario-based PM revealed his 2013 cabinet reshuffle which included promotions for MPs Chris Alexander and Shelly Glover to Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages respectively.

The media was not provided with the new list of names before the annoucement. 

A swearing-in ceremony will take place later today.
