The camera woman who was fired for kicking and tripping refugees in Hungary last month is to sue one of the refugees she kicked, as well as Facebook.
The footage of the incident went viral and caused a worldwide out cry, after which Petra Laszlo was fired from her job with Hungarian TV channel N1TV. She will face a criminal trial in December for a breach of the peace.
The Independent reports that Laszlo has told Russian newspaper Izvestia that she intends to sue Facebook for facilitating an online campaign against her.

Laszlo said "Facebook played a major role in my situation" and "helped embitter people against me." One Facebook page critical of Laszlo had over 10,000 likes.
After the footage of the incident went viral Laszlo said she had done it because she was "scared".
She has also accused Syrian refugee Osama Abdel-Muhsen Alghdab, who she tripped, of changing his testimony.
She has said she may have to leave Hungary with her family due to the backlash over the incident.
She said: “But one thing we know for sure: we will sue Facebook. And we will also prove that the refugee Osama was wrong.”
