Every Friday sees the new album and single releases hit online and the stores, and here's our picks of the five songs you should be listening to this weekend.

Calvin Harris - "This Is What You Came For" featuring Rihanna

Just under five years since they changed the pop music landscape forever with "We Found Love", and Calvin Harris and Rihanna have reunited for the second single from his upcoming, so-far-untitled fifth album, following his collaboration with Disciples on "How Deep Is Your Love" last July. There is a slight change to his usual 'build up the drop' formula, as the drop itself actually does quite go off the way you'd expect, but it will still be the song you hear the most the summer.

Zedd - "True Colours" featuring Kesha 

After all the stories and lawsuits involving Kesha and Dr. Luke, it was looking less and less likely to her fans that she'd ever get to release new music. Enter electro-producer Zedd (perhaps best known for his collaboration with Ariana Grande on "Break Free"), who worked with Kesha on this single, the lyrics of which are quite obviously and emotionally written about her own recent troubles. "I want apologise for the fire in my eyes / I've escaped your capture / I have no master." 

Niki & The Dove - "You Want The Sun"

The Swedish indietronica duo have released their sophomore album Everybody's Heart Is Broken Now, and as you can guess, this is sad-pop at it's best. Malin Dahlstrom keeps the emotions right there on the surface, sounding like she's constantly on the verge of crying in "You Want The Sun", singing over a melancholic snyth about needing a change of location in order to save a relationship. 

blink-182 - "Bored To Death" 

California will be blink's first album since 2011's Neighbourhoods, and "Bored To Death" is their first single with new lead singer Matt Skiba, who has replaced Tom DeLonge. Working with producer John Feldmann (who has been busy getting 5 Seconds Of Summer famous around the world), the new track keeps the band firmly within the pop-punk sub-genre, and keeps the theme of teenage longing very much their modus operandi, despite being in the 40s now.

Brian Eno - "The Ship"

And now for something completely different; a 21-minute instrumental track from the world-famous producer, as part of his four-track ambient instillation album. It's probably not going to come on in the club after the Calvin/Rihanna track, but it's always important to try new things...
