The TUI is calling on the Minister for Education to defer changes to the Junior Cert for a year.

The union's expressed serious concern about the capacity of schools to meet the requirements outlined by Ruari Quinn.

The TUI will ballot it's members on non-cooperationwith the new programme, while the ASTI is meeting in Dublin today.
