A new report has called for a full commission of inquiry into both the sexual and physical abuse of children by paramilitaries in the North.
The new study by Professor Liam Kennedy of Queen's University Belfast says more than 500 children have been beaten, mutilated or shot by paramilitaries since 1990.

He says he has raised the 'rough justice' attacks on children with Sinn Féin's leader Gerry Adams, and will be forwarding the full report to the government and all TDs in the Dáil.
Prof Kennedy says any inquiry into allegations by Mairia Cahill should also take punishment attacks into account.
