While the German's celebrate and the Brazilian's commiserate over last nights shocking 7-1 defeat in the World Cup semi-final, others are running to remove the salt from those wounds and cheer everyone up a bit.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen in the UK have decided to jump to Brazil's aid and offer them some free comfort food.

GBK posted a picture on their Facebook page earlier today stating that they are offering a free burger to anyone with a Brazilian passport to try ease the pain of seven goals in the back of their net.

They're even teasing to charge any German people double, but it's all in good fun.

Perhaps some comfort food is exactly what the Brazilian fans need to soothe those aching wounds but there is no word yet if the offer will extend to the GBK restaurants in Dublin.
