One of Britain's best known sailors Andrew Simpson has died in a training accident off the coast of San Francisco.
The 2008 Olympic gold medalist got trapped underneath a catamaran when it capsized.
The 36 year old was part of the Artemis Racing team that planned to challenge for the America's Cup this summer.

His team manager Paul Cayard has described it as a tragic day:
