In the US, federal prosecutors in Boston say the marathon bombings suspect has been indicted on charges of killing four people using weapons of mass destruction.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev faces 30 counts over April's attacks, many of which carry life sentences or the death penalty.

His brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed following a shootout with police.
