Police in Massachussets say they are confident the search for the Boston bombers is over.

They said early indications suggest the two suspects - Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev - acted alone.

Dzhokhar, the surviving brother is under arrest in hospital after he was pulled found wounded in a boat in the back garden of a property in Watertown, near Boston.
