Most people can remember being made go on some uneventful trip with their parents like window shopping or to some distant relation’s house, usually on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Well it seems even a trip to the White House could not allay the onset of boredom for one particular youngster.

Back in June, this smartly dressed youngster was photographed acting up as his mother and father met with Barack Obama.
The bored child did his best to upstage his parents by diving face first onto a couch in the Oval Office.

Mr Obama is seen chatting with the departing Secret Service agent and his wife, apparently unaware of the boy’s antics.

Photographer Lawrence Jackson captured the amusing moment the child ignored his parents' warning to be on his best behaviour.
