A man's body has been recovered after a car entered a canal in Co Cavan.
At around 6:30pm, a car with three men inside entered the water at Woodford River, Ballyheady Bridge.
Two of the men - both aged in their 20s - escaped from the car uninjured, with one taken to Cavan General Hospital as a precaution.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene, and the body of a man in his mid 20s was recovered from the water.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Garda forensics team has attended the scene and carried out a technical examination.
