A post-mortem is underway on the body of a 24 year old man which was discovered at a house in County Louth this morning.
LMFM report that the man was found in an unresponsive state when Gardai arrived at a house in the Rivervale Crescent area of Dunleer around 9am and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where the State Pathologist Doctor Marie Cassidy is currently carrying out a post mortem on his remains.
Gardai have conducted house to house enquiries and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They say they are keeping an open mind in relation to the investigation until the details of the post-mortem are known.
