A number of people have escaped injury following a fire at a building in Killorglin in Co. Kerry in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze broke out at a commercial unit with apartments overhead on Langford Street. It started at around 4am.
The fire then spread to a number of adjoining buildings.

6 units of the fire brigade from Killorglin, Killarney and Tralee were at the scene to tackle the blaze. The fire has been brought under control.
Langford Street was closed to traffic for a time and diversions were in place.
