With superheroes coming to define the blockbuster movie period of the moment, it’s unsurprising that boys and girls all over the world should come to idolise the costume-clad crime fighters. But a school in the US has taken a stance against the comic-book characters, which has seen Wonder Woman expelled from the canteen.
Posted to Imgur, a popular image-sharing website, parents Daniel and Sarah shared a letter received from their daughter Laura’s school, explaining why Wonder Woman had run afoul of the policy on school dress code. The school requests that pupils do not bring items of violent images into the school, and determined that the lunch pail, which features an image of the iconic DC superheroine posing with her golden lasso on one of its sides, contradicts the regulations.
In the letter, the school administration says that Wonder Woman is a violent character, as she uses violence as a means to solving problems. You can see the letter written to the parents and the offending lunch box below:
