Actress, singer, entrepreneur - Cher is a woman of many talents, and now she can add Broadway to her list.
The 'Believe' singer has confirmed a musical based on her life is to be released in 2018.
In a tweet, she said she "just got off phone w/Writer & Director of musical" - adding that there will be a theatre performance "with actors, dancers, singers" on Broadway next year.

"So, I've wanted to do what I do since I was four years-old," she told the crowd in Las Vegas.
"And I've been doing it for 53 years. That is not an applause thing, I'm 71 yesterday. And I can do a five-minute plank, okay? Just saying."
Cher has won almost every award you can in the entertainment industry: an Academy Award, Emmy, three Golden Globes and a Grammy.
She is just a Tony Award away from achieving EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony) status - which is considered the ‘grand slam’ of American show business.
