The BBC has apologised after one of their journalists wrongly tweeted that Britain's Queen Elizabeth II was hospitalised.
A tweet appearing to come from a journalist's account said: "Queen Elizabeth is being treated at Kind Edward 7th Hospital in London. Statement due shortly: @BBCWorld".
But Ahmen Khawaja deleted the tweet shortly after, saying: "False Alarm: Have deleted previous tweets!!".
She then added that her "phone left unattended at home. Silly prank, Apologies for upsetting anyone!".
But a BBC spokesperson said: "During a technical rehearsal for an obituary, tweets were mistakenly sent from the account of a BBC journalist".
"The tweets were swiftly deleted and we apologise for any offence," they said.

But it was picked up by at least one international organisation, with German website Bild saying: "The Queen's in the hospital" - but this also was quickly corrected.
