Baz Ashmawy and his mother Nancy have scooped an Emmy.

They took the award for Best Non-Scripted Entertainment for their 50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy TV show.

The two received the prize at the International Emmy Awards - a star-studded event in the Microsoft Theatre in LA - last night.

The show sees Irishman Baz on the lookout for new adventures, and bringing his beloved mum along too.

The pair take in everything - from flying helicopters to driving monster trucks and riding husky dog sleds.

Not to mention Nancy taking to the decks as a DJ in Mexico.

The show is now in its second season on Sky 1.

Meanwhile 'Downton Abbey' creator and writer Julian Fellowes was honoured at the ceremony.

He was presented with the the International Emmy Founders Award - a prize which is given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the quality of global television production.

French programs led the night, with three wins in the Arts Programming, Drama Series and TV Movie/Mini-Series categories, while Brazilian programs took two Emmys in the Comedy and Telenovela categories.
