Children's charity Barnardos says there are hundreds of families without suitable accommodation.

The comments come as the Children's Minister called on the local authority to help after a woman was forced to live in her car with three children.

Sabrina McMahon has been unable to find a home for her family because landlords won't accept her rent allowance.

CEO of Barnardos, Fergus Finlay, says while this case is extreme, there are hundreds of others who also need help to find a home:
