The President's survival skills will be put to the test in the episode of NBC's 'Running Wild', to be broadcast later this year, with a preview to appear on American TV next week.
The White House has also released its own footage of the president's trip:

Mr Obama has travelled to Alaska this week to raise awareness of his efforts to combat climate change. The administration says, "climate change is one of the biggest threats we face, it is being driven by human activity, and it is disrupting Americans’ lives right now".
Earlier this month President Obama announced the "biggest, most important step" in the fight against climate change.
The revised Clean Power Plan will demand carbon emissions be cut by 32% from 2005 levels by 2030.
It will also encourage a shift towards renewable energy sources including wind and solar energy.
