A baby boy injured in a crash in Dublin over the weekend has died.

Two cars were involved in the collision which happened at the junction of Hamptonwood Green and Hamptonwood Avenue in Finglas at around 3:30pm on Saturday afternoon.

The 3 month old boy was taken to Temple Street Children's Hospital with serious injuries.

But he passed away at the hospital yesterday afternoon.
