A vigil has been held in the Malaysian city of Petaling Jaya to mark the first anniversary of the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight MH370.

The plane, carrying 239 people, turned off-course en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing and vanished on March 8.

Investigators believe the plane's wreckage is in the southern Indian Ocean.
