Australia has raised its terror threat level from medium to high, saying there's an increased likelihood of a terrorist attack on the country.
The move comes in response to growing concern over the domestic impact of militant conflicts in Iraq and Syria. At least 60 Australian citizens are believed to be fighting for the Islamic State group.
According to the Abbott, they are concerned that those returning from Iraq or Syria may have an impact on domestic security.
