Youth support service www.spunout.ie is calling for an end to the "herd mentality" of sharing photos on social media.

It's after a controversial picture of a girl and a boy, apparently taken at the Eminem concert in Slane at the weekend, went viral on Facebook and Twitter.

Gardaí have launched an investigation into the incident.

Ian Power of Spunout says it's not about the explicit content of the picture, it's about privacy. 

Mr. Power argues the conversation surrounding the picture has been largely misogynistic and indicative of our 'lad culture'.

He told Newstalk's Breakfast there are questions that need to be asked of those who took the photo and posted it online:
