The Irish Medical Organisation's welcoming the breakthrough in the row over junior doctors' working hours.
The union's accepted proposals put forward following crunch talks at the LRC late last night.
It means hospitals could be hit with fines for allowing junior doctors to do shifts longer than 24 hours, and the HSE's agreed to eliminate the practice by the end of 2014.
