Nine people remain in custody following a massive drugs bust. €5 million worth of drugs were seized in a series of raids in Dublin and Meath.
This operation is understood to have resulted from many months of intelligence gathering.
Raids were carried out by gardai attached to the National Drugs Unit at four locations in Dublin and in Navan, Co. Meath.
Around €5.3 million worth of cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy was seized after officers swooped on a number of drug distribution depots.
Five Irish and four Eastern European men were arrested. Weapons and ammunition hidden in a number of cars were also seized.
