A rail crash has killed at least 10 people in India. People became trapped in the wreckage after a passenger express train hit a stationary freight train in the northern Uttar Pradesh state.
It is thought dozens of people were seriously injured.
Reports say six carriages were derailed in the accident.
Medical teams and rescue workers were said to be at the site to free those still trapped.
The train was travelling from Hisar in Haryana to Gorakhdham in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh when the accident occurred near Khalilabad, 700 kilometres east of the capital, New Delhi.
Local media reports the death toll may rise.
