The President of the Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland says she can't condone the reception given to the Education Minister.
Ruairi Quinn was repeatedly heckled, jeered, booed and laughed at during his address to the ASTI conference in Co Wexford.
He says he didn't intend to be provocative in his speech to the second level teachers - but he says he wanted to be open and honest.
