Jozef Puska was charged with her murder one week later and brought before a special sitting of Tullamore District Court that evening.

Today was his sixth court appearance.

A fortnight ago, the DPP directed that he face trial before a judge and jury at the Central Criminal Court – but he can’t be formally sent forward to the higher court until he is served with the completed book of evidence.

The book wasn’t ready today and when the judge asked why, he was told some reports were still outstanding.

Mr Puska was remanded in custody to appear in court again on April 6th.
