Egypt's army has taken reinforcements into key cities ahead of more rallies planned for today.

The country is braced for mass protests as opponents of President Mohamed Morsi take to the streets calling for his resignation - a year after he took office.

The group say they have 22 million signatures on a petition demanding for him to step down.

However, his supporters insist he won a democratic election before taking office.
