A budget airline have come up with an answer for passengers who find their journey ruined by crying children on flights.

AirAsia X is introducing child-free zones on their flights for an added fee.

The first seven rows in the economy cabin are going to be off limits to children under 12 yrs on some flights.

Seats in the ‘quiet area’ are said to cost between €9 and €26.

AirAsia uses the slogan ‘Now everyone can fly’ as CEO Azran Osman-Rani says it’s simply ‘enhancing the array of product offerings on board to suit its guest individual needs’.

Would you pay extra for a seat in a 'child-free' zone?
