The upcoming Apple iOS update will bring with it a huge amount of new emojis for us to use in our day to day emotional abbreviations. 

The most recent update, the iOS 8.3 back in April this year, brought with it racially diverse emojis, while the upcoming iOS 9.1 will supply emoji diversifiers, which will allow users to change the skin colour of their emojis.

On top of more food and animals, there's also prayer beads, motorcycles, robots and, perhaps most controversially of all, a middle finger emoji.

A beta version of the new operating system will begin rolling out to those with a paid Apple developer account from September 16th, and should be made available to all iOS users in the next coming months, although an actual general release date has yet to be confirmed.
