Events have been held to mark the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Anglo Irish Agreement.
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan hosted a special event at Iveagh House in Dublin last night to mark the occasion.
The agreement was signed on November 15th, 1985.
Guests at the event included Finance Minister Michael Noonan, former Taoiseach Liam Cosgrave and former Tánaiste Dick Spring. Several other members of Dr Garret FitzGerald's 1982-1987 coalition government also attended.

The British Ambassador to Ireland, Dominick Chilcott, also conveyed a message from UK Prime Minister David Cameron to mark the occasion.
Speaking at the event, Mr Flanagan said: "The Anglo Irish Agreement was the foundation stone on which many building blocks of the edifice of peace and political stability were subsequently laid".
"These things are never easy. And we cannot forget the personal sacrifices of our negotiators, both political and official" he added.
The anniversary comes as Mr Flanagan continues to co-chair Northern Ireland political talks in Stormont.
