Angelina Jolie has spoken of the horrific stories Syrian refugees shared with her during a visit to the Zaatari camp in Jordan.

The actress and UN refugee agency special envoy, also expressed concern for the alarming numbers of children who are reported dead, wounded or orphaned.

According to the UNHCR, around 250,000 Syrian refugees have fled to Turkey, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon.
