The Environment Minister Alan Kelly says he wants a more functioning planning process to deal with frivolous objections that delay proceedings.

Yesterday, Mr Kelly announced an organisational review of An Bord Pleanála.

It is proposed that the timeframe for the review will be approximately six months.

A report and recommendations are set to be submitted to the minister by the end of the year.

Minister Kelly has told Tipp FM that we need a fair system that allows for progress.
