A preliminary report into the cause of the MH17 passenger flight that was downed in Ukraine on July 17th says that it was pierced by numerous "high-speed objects".
"Flight MH17... operated by Malaysia Airlines broke up in the air probably as the result of structural damage caused by a large number of high-energy objects that penetrated the aircraft from outside," the report reads.
Meanwhile, a tentative peace between Ukraine and Russia negotiated last weekend, after a dusk deadline, is more or less holding, however, “war is still possible”, according to Professor Stephen Cohen, expert on the Ukraine and Russia.
Professor Cohen also questions the conventional wisdom.
“All I can assume is that a cover up is under way [of the MH17 plane investigation] of something terrible that happened.”
“If true, the entire western policy in Ukraine toward Russia would collapse, and people may finally demand answers from Obama, NATO, David Cameron and Kiev, who perpetuated what may turn out to be a falsehood.”
