A man has died following a collision in Drogheda.

The two vehicle crash-involving a motorcycle and a tractor -happened at Tullyard on the Ballymakenny Road at approximately 5.40pm this evening.

A 39 year-old man was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a tractor. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

The driver of the tractor was uninjured.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward
