Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a crash in Drogheda that left a woman in her 60s seriously injured.
The 63-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car shortly before 8.25pm yesterday evening at Yellowgap in Termonfeckin.
The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital.

The occupants of the car were uninjured.
The road was closed to traffic but has since been reopened.
Witnesses are asked to contact Drogheda Garda station.
