Gardai are appealing to anyone who was offered a blank NCT cert for sale to contact them.

It's after more than 850 blank certs were stolen in Drogheda in Co Louth over the weekend.

Shane Teskey from motorcheck.ie says it'll be hard for people to spot a fake:
