In case you didn't know.... the Boys in Green are taking on Belgium tomorrow at 2pm as part of their second game in Euro 2016.

While most of the nation will be cheering on the Irish team, we are aware that not everyone is that keen on soccer.

So here is a list of 7 other things to do over the weekend:

1. Discover the secret life of pets

Filmbase in Dublin City is hosting an special photography exhibition that reveals the quirky antics of some of Ireland's best-loved celebrity pets.

Petography: The Secret Life of Pets Exhibition’ captures what the nation's A-list animals get up to when their famous owners aren't at home.

The pets of celebrities, including Rosanna Davison, Roz Purcell, Kathryn Thomas, Dr Eva Osmond, and PJ Gallagher, feature in the exhibition.

The exhibition has been created by the team from Universal Pictures Ireland to celebrate the release of The Secret Life of Pets, which hits Irish cinemas on June 24th.

It's free to the public and has been organised in conjunction with the ISPCA. The pictures will be auctioned on the ISPCA website.

2. Get yourself to Co. Waterford for the Travel Writing Festival

The Immrama Festival of Travel Writing is taking place this weekend from June 16th-19th.

The event happens in June every year in the beautiful surroundings of Lismore and the theme for 2016 is ‘Journeys through War & Peace’.

This year's key note speaker is Kim Phuc, best known as the nine-year-old child depicted in the Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph taken during the Vietnam War in 1972. She will also be joined by BBC's Fergal Keane.

Other events include a family Fun Day on Sunday at Millennium Park, a farmers market, and a ‘Literary Breakfast’ hosted by Turtle Bunbury, as well as presentations by top national and international travel writers.

3. Cycle 30km (or more) through Galway

The Great Galway Bike Ride is on Sunday June 19th and takes competitors through the beautiful scenery of Connemara.

There are four routes available ranging from 30km to 125km.

Obviously some training may be required for this one, but if you're interested you can still register on their website.

4. Visit the Cork Summer Show

The Cork Summer Show takes place this Saturday and Sunday (June 18th & 19th) from 9am - 6pm at the Showgrounds in Curaheen, Co. Cork.

Every summer for the past 200 years the Munster Agricultural Society has put on an event, with this year promising to be the biggest show yet.

The highlights include:

  • A welly throwing contest in aid of Down Syndrome Cork
  • The National Tug-o-War Championships, which take place on Sunday
  • A craft beer tent featuring local brews
  • The largest open market in Munster with over 75 food stands

The festival celebrates one of the most sensational events in the town's colourful past - the attack by Barbary corsairs known as 'The Sack of Baltimore'.

The weekend will include attractions for all ages (some serious, some light-hearted) including a pirate exhibition, face painting, music, a treasure hunt and sea-faring adventures.

If you want to learn the lingo before you head to the festival check out this pirate translator to help you on your way.

7. Watch every episode of OITNB Season 4

Sunday's weather isn't looking too good, with rain forecast for most counties.

Don't stress though... just grab your duvet, head to the couch, and watch every episode of the new series of Orange is the New Black before anyone gets to spoil it for you on Monday morning.
