In the US, a winter storm system has killed at least six people and caused havoc across central and southern states.

The storm has brought over 30 tornadoes, as well as blizzards and snow storms.

More than 1,600 flights have been delayed or cancelled.

Weather warnings have been issued from the deep south, through Ohio in the mid-west and all the way up to Maine in New England.
