Over 400 people are waiting on a hospital bed today.

The latest trolley watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation 409 people are on hospital chairs and trolleys.

The busiest facility is University Hospital Limerick where 38 people are waiting to be admitted.

However the figures could be even higher as St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin was not able to give the INMO figures this morning.
