350 people are being hired on a temporary basis for Irish Water contact centres in Cork

In a statement issued to TV3, the company stated that the hirings are taking place ahead of the first bills which will be issued next month.

The company is expecting an increase volume in calls during the period leading to up to the first bills.

The 350 additional employees will be hired by Abtran for Irish Water and will be based in contact centres in Cork.
