30 new jobs have been created with the opening of a new service station in Charlestown, County Mayo.
The official opening of Charlestown Service Station takes place today on Saturday, the 18th of February from 2 – 5pm. The service station includes fast food outlets, a coffee dock and a convenience shop.

Minister of State for Regional and Economic Development Michael Ring will officially open the service station this afternoon.
Joining the Minister will be a number of well known faces such as Fair City actor Ryan Andrews, who plays Sean Cassidy on the RTÈ soap opera. Sporting fans will also be thrilled to learn that players from the Mayo football team will be joining in on the celebrations.
Owner of the service station - Pat McDonagh of Supermacs said "We are heartened the minister recognises the benefits of The Charlestown Service Station in providing essential services for the local community and motorists on the N5 and N17."
