Detectives in Britain investigating forced labour and human trafficking in the Bristol area have rescued three men and taken them to safety.

It follows raids at "three travelers sites, a business unit and a house in South Gloucestershire and a residential property in Bristol," police said in a statement.

Two people have been arrested for alleged slavery offences.

Five others are being held on suspicion of committing crimes including cannabis production and money laundering.
