Eve Farrelly is the executive director of the Child at Risk in Ireland Foundation.

She says child sexual abuse increased during the COVID-19 crisis.

Ms Farrelly explained: "I would have a concern about the impact of this with regards to the pandemic.

"We know during this time children have been locked in their homes, and have had much more online presence... and we know offenders were also locked in their homes.

"I think we're not really seeing the impact of that just yet, and that would be of huge concern for me."
